If you're a PhilHealth member, you may be entitled to more than you realize.
Here's a complete list of what's covered under the YAKAP program — worth bookmarking or sending to family.
1. Free Primary Care Consultations (KONSULTA)
Regular check-ups and consultations with a doctor at any YAKAP-accredited clinic, at no cost to you, once you are registered there.
2. Free and Subsidized Medicines (GAMOT)
Essential medicines are available directly at your YAKAP clinic, at no charge. Beyond that, the GAMOT benefit covers additional prescribed medicines through GAMOT-accredited pharmacies — up to Php 20,000 per year for eligible members.
- Anti-infectious: Amoxicillin, Co-amoxiclav, Co-trimoxazole, Ciprofloxacin, Clarithromycin, Nitrofurantoin
- Anti-thrombotic: Aspirin
- Anti-asthma/COPD: Fluticasone + Salmeterol, Prednisone, Salbutamol
- Supportive/other therapy: Chlorphenamine, Oral Rehydration Salts, Paracetamol
- Anti-diabetic: Gliclazide, Metformin
- Anti-dyslipidemia: Simvastatin
- Anti-hypertensive/cardiology: Amlodipine, Enalapril, Hydrochlorothiazide, Losartan, Metoprolol
3. Basic Laboratory Tests (LABORATORYO)
Covered lab tests include:
- Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Urinalysis
- Fecalysis
- Fasting blood sugar
- Lipid profile
- Creatinine
- HbA1c
- Chest X-ray
- ECG
These are available to you as part of your ongoing primary care at your YAKAP clinic — no need to pay out of pocket at a separate diagnostic center for these.
4. Cancer Screenings (SCREEN)
Free screening for six of the most common cancers:
- Breast cancer
- Cervical cancer
- Prostate cancer
- Colon (colorectal) cancer
- Liver cancer
- Lung cancer

You need to be an active PhilHealth member or qualified dependent, and empaneled (registered) at a YAKAP-accredited clinic.
